If someone told me 18 years ago that I would end up teaching Spanish in a Christian School, I would have thought they were crazy. In fact, I disliked my high school Spanish class so much, that I dropped the class for study hall. I get that for a lot of students Spanish class can be intimidating and that is why I do my best to make my classes as exciting as possible. I am a loud teacher, I play games with my students, use video lessons, and am blessed to have a SmartBoard in my classroom to enhance the learning for my students. I have a real passion for students and their walks with the Lord. In my Bible class, I emphasize that we cannot ride our parents faith to Heaven. It is so important that children make the decision to live for the Lord themselves, other people cannot make these decisions for us. I like to consider myself a bit of a "Jane of all trades". Not only do I teach at BCA, but I also coach volleyball and girls soccer, drive the bus for athletic events and field trips, am the new student council representative, I am a mother, and am a whitewater rafting guide on the weekends. To say the least, I stay pretty busy, but I have a blessed life! I am looking forward to this school year to continue watching my students grow into the young men and women that the Lord will have them become! Please feel free to contact me with any questions you may have.
